We came here for dinner on Friday night, and the service was the best I've experienced this year. We sat in the corner booth, which has now become my favorite spot in the restaurant. The sea bass crudo was good, though a bit too salty. The grilled octopus was really well-prepared, and the salmon was absolutely delicious. However, the grilled Baja striped bass was also on the salty side. The highlight of the evening was the rosemary and orange olive oil cake. I'm obsessed with it--it wasn't too sweet and made for the perfect dessert. Regarding the drinks, the Cactus Cooler was just okay. It had subtle flavors and wasn't too sweet, but I think it might be better with gin next time. The Singani Rose was alright, but since I'm not a big fan of brandy, that wasn't surprising. I tried the Catalina Sunrise without vanilla raspberry, substituting hibiscus instead; it was just okay. The Conquistador's Mule was good, and I enjoyed it with a little less spice than usual. Finally, The Floor is Guava with gin was tasty, though a bit on the sweet side.

Great food. Great service. Try not to get a table under the air conditioner. We had to put on our jackets because it was so cold.

Elevated casual dining. One of my favorite places to share food with friends and family in Tucson. I recommend trying the specials (if they aren't sold out already!) and staff is always knowledgeable about flavors and textures. I trust their recommendations! If they have scallops, get them. I've had several of their scallop special dishes and they are phenomenal. Buttery, tender, and sweet and entire dish typically blows me away. Favorite beverage is the Singani Rose, if you are looking for a subtle sweet cocktail. I would come here more often if the menu changed!

We went to dinner there the first time on Sunday. We went with another couple and all four of us had different plates and everyone was wonderful. Very creative cooking. It is hard to find the food style because it is quite unique. It's definitely southwestern, but is very unique. They have a number of mesquite grilled items. I had the mesquite grilled octopus and it was fabulous. Cooked perfectly with complex spices. I'm not sure what the exact composition was, but it was excellent. The service and ambience was quite pleasant. We'll definitely go back again.
